The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Dallas Stars 3-2 on New Year’s Eve at American Airlines Center.
It was the 20th consecutive time the Stars have played at home on New Year’s Eve and they are 12-6-2 in those games.
Next up for the Stars is a home game against the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday night.
