ESPN to Offer 40+ Hours of Live, Original Content from Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta

ESPN’s coverage of Super Bowl LIII – the New England Patriots vs. the Los Angeles Rams – kicks off Wednesday, Jan. 30, and includes more than 40 hours of live programming from Atlanta. SportsCenter, NFL Live and more will originate from ESPN’s Super Bowl headquarters at Centennial Olympic Park where viewing is free and open to the public. ESPN’s Super Bowl programming also features daily editions of Golic and Wingo and First Take from the Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart and, on Sunday, pre- and post-game shows from Mercedes-Benz Stadium (schedule).

ESPN TV Shows Originating from Atlanta:

• SportsCenter On the Road (beginning Wed at 7 a.m. ET): Sage Steele will host noon segments and the full 6 p.m. ETSportsCenter Wednesday through Friday, Steve Levy will host late night segments Wednesday through Sunday, and Michael Eaves will join Levy for postgame coverage live from the field following Super Bowl  NFL analysts Tedy Bruschi, Ryan Clark, Matt Hasselbeck, Booger McFarland, Jeff Saturday, Charles Woodson and Darren Woodson and insiders Louis Riddick, Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter will contribute to SportsCenter throughout the week.
• First Take (Wed-Fri at 10 a.m. ET): ESPN’s popular morning debate show featuring Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman and host Molly Qerim Rose will be live from the Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart. The show, which is free and open to the public, will welcome a full lineup of sports and entertainment guests.
• NFL Live (Wed-Fri at 1:30 p.m. ET): Hosts Wendi Nix (Wed, Thu) and Suzy Kolber (Fri) will be joined by Super Bowl champions Tedy Bruschi, Ryan Clark, Booger McFarlandand Darren Woodson and NFL Insiders Louis Riddick, Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter.
• NFL Matchup (Sun at 3 a.m. ET): Trey Wingo will break down Patriots-Rams with NFL writer and analyst Matt Bowen and NFL Films’ Greg Cosell.
• Postseason NFL Countdown (Sun at 10 a.m. ET): Suzy Kolber, former Super Bowl MVP Steve Young and insiders Louis Riddick, Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter will kick off ESPN’s four-hour Super Bowl pre-game show from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Countdown will also feature host Sam Ponder, Super Bowl XL quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, Hall of Famer Randy Moss and Super Bowl champions Rex Ryan and Charles Woodson, all based at ESPN’s main set in Centennial Olympic Park.
• NFL PrimeTime (Sun at 10:30 p.m. ET): Chris Berman, Randy Moss and Steve Youngwill deliver highlights and conduct interviews from the field following the game.
• Throughout the week, Sal Paolantonio (covering the Patriots) and Josina Anderson(Rams) will report on the Super Bowl teams, and Dianna Russini (ESPN Social) and Dan Graziano (ESPN.com) will provide additional updates from Atlanta.

The Undefeated, ESPN’s multiplatform content initiative exploring the intersections of sports, race and culture, will feature extensive coverage of Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta. Highlights:

• RISE – Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality – will partner with the NFL and The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (The King Center) to host its fourth annual Super Bowl Town Hall,“Champions of Change: Tackling Social Justice Together,” on  31. The town hall will be livestreamed by The Undefeated and senior NFL writer Jason Reid will serve as moderator.
• As part of The Undefeated’s examination of the NFL Rooney Rule, Reid profiles Patriots linebackers coach Brian Flores, expected by many to be the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins. If he gets the Dolphins job, Flores will be the only coach of color named a head coach during this hiring cycle.
• In the final installment of a season-long series on The State of the Black NFL Fan, The Undefeated commissioned a fan survey.

ESPN The Magazine
The latest issue of ESPN The Magazine – hitting newsstands Jan. 25 – previews the upcoming Super Bowl matchup between Sean McVay’s fresh-faced Rams and Bill Belichick’s stalwart Patriots as they get ready to head to Atlanta.

ESPN Deportes
ESPN Deportes will be the Spanish-language home of Super Bowl LIII, featuring exclusive Spanish-language coverage on ESPN Deportes TV, ESPN Deportes Radio and streaming via the ESPN App. This is the second Super Bowl telecast for ESPN Deportes, via an agreement with the National Football League and CBS, home of Super Bowl LIII. ESPN Deportes also televised Super Bowl 50. Super Bowl LIII coverage on ESPN Deportes will be handled by the veteran Spanish-language NFL broadcasting crew: Álvaro Martín (play-by-play), former NFL kicker and Super Bowl champion Raúl Allegre (analyst), and sideline reporter John Sutcliffe. This will be the 15^th Super Bowl that Martín and Allegre cover together from site. They have been the main commentator team for ESPN coverage in Latin America since Super Bowl XXXIV.
