‘Tis the Season: Holiday Cheer Abounds at Jean-Georges Beverly Hills

Renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his talented team bring a Thanksgiving dinner to remember, whether your celebration includes two or 20 guests. Begin with parsnip soup with coconut and an endive, apple and pear small plate, then go on to a spectacular Nantucket Bay scallop and black truffle tartare, and finally sample a delicate grilled octopus dressed in Guajillo vinaigrette. All that for starters, then go on to the main course, with choices that include slow baked salmon, Maine lobster, honey nut squash ravioli, beef tenderloin au poivre and the traditional roasted turkey, this time stuffed with foie gras truffle chestnut. For dessert, enjoy a selection of pumpkin, apple cranberry or butterscotch pecan tarts, and more.

On Christmas Eve, as Santa prepares for his visit, the family will find dinner already planned at Jean-Georges. It includes a three-course meal that starts with a selection of heirloom beet, avocado and citrus salad, Wagyu beef carpaccio, truffle hamachi with garlic butter served on toasted brioche or grilled octopus. Main entrée offerings include fresh tagliatelle pasta garnished with black truffles; spice crusted squab with crushed peas; or Maine Lobster dressed in a mushroom-yuzu vinaigrette. Finish up with a choice of chocolate coconut and banana chestnut with orange and mascarpone, or an apple with salted caramel and cinnamon dessert.

Enjoy Christmas Day with a very special brunch featuring starter choices of heirloom beet, avocado and citrus salad, Wagyu beef carpaccio with black truffle fritters, truffle hamachi toast, or grilled octopus. As the New Year approaches, let Jean-George Beverly Hills restaurant make the last day of 2018 one for the memory books. Ring in the New Year by joining us for an incredible culinary experience on New Year’s Eve with select tasting menus offered at two dinner seatings. 

The first seating begins at 5:00pm and includes a five-course meal. Begin with a foie gras parfait topped with a parmesan foam followed by Nantucket Bay scallops and black truffle tartare. Next, enjoy steamed striped sea bass with winter vegetable pot au feu and a beef ribeye and lobster duo with white truffle and crispy parsnips. Conclude the feast with dessert, a classic combination of champagne and chocolate. 

The second NYE seating is a six-course meal that begins at 8:30pm. Enjoy a beggars’ purse with crème fraîche, then go on to a scallop and truffle tartare, fresh tagliatelle pasta with black truffles, steamed striped bass, finally a delectable duo of beef ribeye and lobster. Dessert culminates the last moments of 2018 with champagne and chocolate and a chance to “crack open a New Year’s fortune” with a giant fortune cookie.
