Dallas Fort Worth International Airport was one of the first airports to welcome Delta’s new state-of-the-art A220-100 when the aircraft began service from DFW to New York-LaGuardia on Thursday, February 7, 2019.

Delta’s A220 narrow-body jet has the widest Main Cabin seats in Delta’s fleet (18.6″ wide), extra-large windows, and premium content on seat-back screens. In line with DFW’s environmental efforts, this aircraft delivers a 20 percent improvement in fuel efficiency over similar-sized aircraft.

The fleet will roll out to numerous markets across the United States throughout 2019, including service between DFW and Detroit, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and New York-JFK. With DFW serving as one of the top business destinations from Delta’s hub in New York-LaGuardia, this route was one of the first to receive the new aircraft.
