Quincy Acy Returns to Texas Legends

FRISCO, TX – The Texas Legends announced today that forward Quincy Acy has returned to the team.

Acy (6-7, 240, Baylor) has played 337 NBA games in 7 years of service, averaging 4.9 points, 3.5 rebounds in 16.0 minutes. 

Most recently, Acy joined the Phoenix Suns for 10 games this season averaging 1.7 points, 2.5 rebounds in 12.3 minutes.  The Legends held Acy’s returning player rights throughout his most recent NBA stint.

Acy played four seasons at Baylor earning Big 12 honors every season. 

The Texas native was drafted in the 2nd round (37th overall pick) of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors seeing action in 29 games as a rookie. 

In his last run with Texas during the 2016-17 season, Acy played 12 games for the Legends averaging 17.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.6 steals, and 2.0 blocks and earning an NBA Call-Up to the Brooklyn Nets.

Acy is expected to join the team as they travel to Stockton Tuesday to take on the Kings at 9pm CT.
