NFL Media Earns 20 Sports Emmy Award Nominations

NFL Media – comprised of NFL Network, NFL Films, NFL.com, the NFL app and NFL RedZone – received 20 Sports Emmy Award nominations, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced today.

It is the second consecutive year NFL Media has received 20 Sports Emmy Award nominations.

NFL Network analyst Kurt Warner received his second career Sports Emmy Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Sports Personality – Studio Analyst for his work on such NFL Network shows as NFL GameDay Morning and NFL Total Access throughout the NFL season.

NFL Network and NFL Films’ documentary series A Football Life earned a nomination in the Outstanding Edited Sports Special or Series category, marking the sixth such nomination in the series’ eight-year history, and 10th overall.

NFL Network also received a nomination for NFL 360: Steve Gleason – No White Flags in the Outstanding Edited Sports Special or Series category, which also received a nomination in the category of Outstanding Long Feature. Overall, NFL 360 received four Sports Emmy Award nominations.

Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cleveland Browns from NFL Films and HBO earned a total of three nominations in the categories of Outstanding Camera Work, Outstanding Music Direction and Outstanding Social TV Experience.

For the fourth consecutive year, NFL Network received a nomination in the Outstanding Technical Team Studio category, this year for the network’s coverage of Super Bowl LIII.

In the Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary category, NFL Films secured two nominations for All or Nothing: A Season with the Dallas Cowboys and All or Nothing: Manchester City along with Amazon Prime Video.

The 40th Annual Sports Emmys Awards will be presented on Tuesday, May 20 in New York City at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall.
