The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger would miss the remainder of the 2019 NFL season following elbow surgery.
The 37-year-old quarterback signed a two-year extension worth $68 million with the Steelers this past April.

Roethlisberger released a statement saying he intends to return to the Steelers next season.
