NORCROSS, Ga. — Those looking for a sophisticated evening in an unpretentious setting can celebrate Valentine’s Day the Waffle House Way this year.

For the 12th year in a row, select Waffle House restaurants will be putting out the white table cloths, dimming the lights and welcoming customers to a special February 14th dinner. Close to 200 restaurants will be taking reservations and offering up a unique and fun night in the Waffle House Nation.

“Valentine’s Day is about spending time with the one you love at a place you love,” says Waffle House Valentine’s Specialist Jessica Kinskey. “And it’s even better when you can do that without spending a lot of money.”

The tradition began in 2008 at a Waffle House restaurant in John’s Creek, Ga.  An influx of customers dined at this restaurant every Valentine’s Day, so the manager decided to make the experience extra special.  Today the trend of white tablecloths, candles, and special menu items has spread to Waffle House locations in 21 states.

“This is the only night that Waffle House locations take reservations,” adds Kinskey. “We’ve had customers asking for months when they can get their reservation in for 2019.”

Waffle House “lovers” can find a list of participating locations and phone numbers at wafflehouse.com.  Make sure to secure your reservation so you don’t miss out on this magical event.
