“Consumers want a more personalized payment experience and CARD.com provides an opportunity to express yourself through a wide variety of card art designs,” says CEO, Tim Coltrell. “People are looking for a new way to bank on the go, and our goal is to provide an easy-to-use, affordable banking solution that reflects the individual passions of consumers. The NFLPA cards are a great example of giving consumers a more engaging and fun banking option.” CARD.com offers banking fully from your smartphone, with thousands of different Mastercard and Visa prepaid cards to choose from.

“It’s great to see NFL player licensing extend into diverse new categories,” said Steve Scebelo, vice president of business development and licensing for the NFLPA. “We are always looking for new ways to build licensing opportunities for NFL players through alliances with partners such as CARD.com, who are leaders in their category.”

In May 2018, CARD.com was a partner of the NFLPA Rookie Premiere, an exclusive event for 40+ newly drafted NFL rookies and NFLPA partners to connect and create content for the upcoming season. Players in attendance were excited to see their fellow teammates on Visa cards. CARD.com interviewed the league’s newest players about what it means to represent their teams. As they begin their new careers, they will also be joining the CARD.com roster, with Visa cards already in development for each rookie.

The officially licensed NFLPA designed prepaid cards can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted and offer a fully featured online banking experience without any overdraft charges or late fees.
