The Dallas Stars defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2 in OT at American Airlines Center.
Jamie Benn scored 2:07 into overtime to give the Stars the win over the eastern conference powerhouse Lightning.
Up next for the Stars is a home game on Wednesday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs while Tampa Bay travels to the west coast to take on the Los Angeles Kings.
