The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
24-year-old quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who was selected Super Bowl MVP, led the Chiefs to 21 straight points in the final 6:13 to overcome a 10-point deficit en route to a 31-20 victory over the 49ers.
It was the first Super Bowl title for the Chiefs in 50 years.
The win was the 222nd in the career of head coach Andy Reid and his first Super Bowl championship. Reid won a Super Bowl ring as the tight ends coach with the 1996 Green Bay Packers.
The official attendance at Hard Rock Stadium was 62,417.
