The final game of the NFL’s opening weekend featured the Oakland Raiders hosting the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. The Raiders’ home games means performances by the great Raiderettes.
There was considerable buzz around the evening that saw the return of Jon Gruden to the sidelines after a decade on ESPN but the Rams dominated the second half to spoil the show and win 33-13.
“It was a tale of two halves,” Gruden said on espn.com. “Obviously we did not take care of the ball and that was a critical part of that football game.”
Next up for the Raiders is a trip to the Mike High City to face the Denver Broncos.
