Registration is free.

Accepting online submissions for 2020 Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancer Preliminary Auditions. Audition consists of an Application and Upload of a Headshot, Full Length Photo, a Video Introduction, and a 45-60 Second Dance Performance. Your Dance Performance can either be self-choreographed or freestyled.

June 20th: Notification of Candidates to Round Two of Auditions and choreography sent out to Semi-Final Candidates.

June 28th: Deadline to Submit Choreography Videos.

June 29th: Notification of Candidates to the Final Auditions

TBD: Final Auditions and Training Camp. Interview times and additional choreography may be sent out in the event of a delayed start.

The NFL announced the 2020 regular season schedule on Thursday, and at least six national television appearances highlight the Dallas Cowboys upcoming regular season.

The Cowboys schedule currently features five games that will be broadcast nationally in primetime, two from AT&T Stadium. T

he Cowboys play six games against teams that qualified for the 2019 playoffs – Baltimore, Minnesota, Philadelphia (twice), San Francisco and Seattle.

In addition to the two primetime games at AT&T Stadium – one on ESPN and one on NBC – and the club’s annual Thanksgiving Day national appearance (this year on FOX), the Cowboys will make three national appearances in primetime on the road, two on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, and once on Thursday night on Fox/NFL Network/Amazon.

Dallas will play on Monday Night Football for the 82nd time in club history (second in NFL history behind Miami’s 85). Only the San Francisco 49ers (49) and Pittsburgh Steelers (49) have won more MNF games than Dallas’ 47.

For the 18th time in the organization’s history, the Dallas Cowboys will open and close the season on the road.

This will be fourth time in the last 10 years Dallas opens and closes the year away (2011, 2012 and 2018).

The Cowboys 2020 season kicks off on Sunday Night (Sept. 13) as the club heads to Los Angeles to open the Rams new SoFi Stadium.

This will mark the sixth time Dallas will help open a new stadium on the road and the second time it has happened in Week 1:

Week 2 has Dallas debuting its home schedule with a tilt against Atlanta on Sept. 20. The Cowboys will close out September with a game in Seattle (9/27).

October is ushered in with three straight home games, first on Oct. 4 against Cleveland to begin interconference play, then Dallas will premiere its divisional schedule with a tilt on Oct. 11 against the N.Y. Giants, followed by the club’s Monday night appearance against Arizona on Oct. 19. The Cowboys will hit the road for two consecutive division games, first at Washington on Oct. 25, then at Philadelphia on Sunday Night, Nov. 1.

November continues with a home game against Pittsburgh (11/8), before Dallas enjoys a Week 10 bye – the latest the club had its bye since a Week 11 bye in 2014 after returning home from a game in the United Kingdom. Coming out of the bye, the Cowboys head to Minnesota on Nov. 22 before returning home for their annual Thanksgiving Day game, this year against Washington on FOX on Nov. 26.

The last month of the season begins with what has also become tradition for Dallas, a Thursday night game following the Thanksgiving Day game. This season will mark the fifth consecutive (six of the last seven) Thursday/Thursday turnaround and the fourth time Dallas will have a road game on Thursday night as the club travels to Baltimore on Dec. 3 and will try to take home their first win from “Charm City.”

The Cowboys come out of the Thursday night game to close out their AFC schedule, traveling to Cincinnati on Dec. 13. On Dec. 20, the Cowboys will close out their scheduled primetime games with a home battle against the defending NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers.

The final two games of the 2020 regular season will both be divisional opponents. First, Dallas hosts Philadelphia on Dec. 27, then travels to the Big Apple to take on the N.Y. Giants on Jan. 3.

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders to Offer Three Online Prep Classes This Week

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders announced that their 2020 auditions will be virtual beginning on May 2.

In preparation for the upcoming auditions, the DCC has announced online prep classes on April 29, 30 and May 1.

April 29th will be taught by Michelle Keys, April 30th will feature Shelly Bramhall and the May 1st class will be taught by KaShara Garrett.

The Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers auditions are set for June 6th and 7th at Next Step Dance Studio at The Star.

The Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers are looking for talented young men and women to join the only coed hip-hop professional dance team in the NFL! Dancers perform at all Dallas Cowboys home games, make personal appearances across the country, and are positive role models and charitable ambassadors throughout the community.

REQUIREMENTS: Dancers must have high school diploma or GED and a valid photo ID to participate in auditions. Applicants must be 18 years old by June 6, 2020. You must be a resident of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, or be willing to relocate, and have reliable transportation. Preliminary, semifinal, and final auditions to select training camp candidates will be closed to the public for the 2020 auditions. Hair and make-up for all audition rounds should be attractive and not distracting. No body jewelry or body decoration is permitted during auditions. Please cover up any visible tattoos. Ladies should wear a cropped dance top or sports bra, fitted leggings or dance shorts, skin colored dance tights if needed, and comfortable shoes for the audition process. Gentlemen should wear comfortable hip hop dance attire.

REGISTRATION: Completed application forms and registration fees can be submitted online through the Active X platform or be turned in at the preliminary audition on June 6th, 2020.

Pre-registration fees are $30; walk-up registration fees on the day of preliminaries are $35. Please make check or money order payable to the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers if registering at preliminaries.

All candidates must bring a non-returnable headshot and resume to the audition on June 6th.

PRELIMINARIES & SEMIFINALS: June 6th, 2020 @ 10:00AM-6:00 PM

Preliminary/Semifinal Auditions will be held at Next Step Dance Studio at The Star (6635 Cowboys Way, Suite 130, Frisco, TX, 75034). Candidates will need to arrive at least 30 minutes early to submit application (if not pre-registered) and receive an audition number. Please allow ample time for parking due to increased event traffic at The Star.

Candidates will learn a short dance routine.

Afterwards, candidates will introduce themselves and perform for the judging panel in small groups.

At the end of the performances, the judges’ selection for callbacks will be posted.

Candidates will learn a second dance routine and will then perform both routines in small groups for the judging panel.

Judges will also conduct brief interviews during the audition process.

At the end of the performances, the judges’ selections for finals will be posted.

Finalists will have a brief meeting with Director Jenny Durbin Smith to discuss the final audition process and finals attire.

FINALS: June 7th, 2020 @ 10:00AM-6:00 PM

The Final round of auditions will be held at Next Step Dance Studio at The Star. Candidates will perform a 1-minute to 1.5-minute self-choreographed solo and perform all preliminary and semifinal choreography. Training camp candidates will be announced at the conclusion of the day.

The 2020 Training Camp will begin on June 8ath, 2020.

All rehearsals and interview panels for the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Training Camp Candidates will be held Monday-Friday evenings, as well as additional Sunday training camp rehearsals.

Full Training Camp Schedule will be given to Training Camp Candidates at the conclusion of Final Auditions.

Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers Hold Youth Academy Holiday Youth Camp at AT&T Stadium

ARLINGTON — The Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers held their youth camp on Monday Dec. 30 at AT&T Stadium.

Members of the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers were on hand for the Youth Academy Holiday Camp that began at 10 a.m. inside one of the main level clubs on the stadium’s concourse.

Upon arrival, campers were provided with T-shirts.

The camp focused on the fundamentals of hip hop dance, choreography and the elements of tricking and breaking in an empowering, positive and fun environment.

The campers were ages 6-18 and received individualized coaching from members of the elite dance team.

Following a lunch of Papa John’s Pizza, the campers polished up the routines they had learned in the morning session before heading down to the field.

There was also a youth camp put on for football players and and another by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders that took place simultaneously to the DCRB youth camp.

Parent, friends and family received a wristband at check-in that allowed access to the stadium’s seating to watch the camp that culminated in multiple games being played at the same time.

The youth campers from the DCRB and DCC provided the entertainment during the breaks, just as they do at the NFL games played at the stadium.
