The Baylor Bears defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders 35-24 in the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Shootout at AT&T Stadium.

The victory made Baylor bowl eligible following last year’s 1-11 season.

The loss would be the final game for Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury as he was fired the following day after six seasons at the helm of the Red Raiders.
