West Virginia defeated TCU 20-17 at Amon Carter Stadium.

This is the first time since 2013 and only the third time in TCU head coach Gary Patterson’s tenure that the Horned Frogs will not be bowl eligible as they finished the season at 5-7 (six is the minimum number of wins to be bowl eligible).
