TCU defeated Sam Houston State 82-69 in the first round of the NIT at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth.
Six Horned Frogs scored in double figures as TCU advanced to the second round of the NIT.
TCU will be at home for round two and play host to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
