The 2019 NCAA Mens Final Four took place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, known to most sports fans as the home of the Minnesota Vikings.
Saturday’s semi finals saw Virginia defeat Auburn 63-62 in the first game in one of the more controversial endings in tournament history that was topped off by Virginia’s Kyle Guy draining three free throws to put the Cavaliers ahead.
Texas Tech advance to its first title game in school history by defeating Michigan State 61-51 in the nightcap. Matt Mooney led the Red Raiders with 22 points to match his season-high.
Texas Tech and Virginia will play on Monday evening with the game being televised on CBS.
