Week Six of the College Football several big big games including two huge rivalry games.
Highlights:
The AT&T Red River Showdown saw the Texas Longhorns defeat the Oklahoma Sooners 48-45 at the Cotton Bowl Stadium inside the State Fair of Texas in Dallas. The 18th ranked Longhorns led 45-24, but ended relying on freshman kicker Cameron Dicker’s late field goal to top Kyler Murray and the 7th ranked Sooners. Texas plays Baylor next week in Austin while the Sooners have their bye week before returning to DFW to take on the TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth on Oct. 20.
The Miami Hurricanes defeated the Florida State Seminoles 28-27 at Hard Rock Stadium. The Hurricanes rallied from being down 27-7to defeat the Seminoles at home for the first time since 2004 when Miami still played at the Orange Bowl.
The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks 65-31 behind four touchdown passes from Tua Tagovailoa.
