The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Dallas Mavericks 122-107 at American Airlines Center.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 29 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Bucks to their sixth straight victory and they currently sit at 41-13 for the best record in the NBA.
Brook Lopez added 20 points for the Bucks.
Luka Doncic scored 20 points for the Mavericks. He is the lone remaining starter from the Mavs season opener as Dallas shipped Dennis Smith Jr., Wesley Matthews and DeAndre Jordan to the New York Knicks and trading Harrison Barnes to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.
“It’s hard,” Doncic said on espn.com. “They were four people that always played with me, a lot of time together. I just have to adjust to it.”
New Mavs point guard Trey Burke scored 18 points.
The Mavericks had a season-high 22 3-pointers as they started firing it up from downtown in a third quarter run that saw them cut the Bucks lead to seven.
Next up for the Bucks is a home game against Orlando on Saturday while the Mavs have a Sunday afternoon home game against the Portland Trailblazers.
