The Houston Texans Cheerleaders held their 2017 tryouts on April 1 at the Houston Texans Methodist Training Center across from NRG Stadium.
Over 600 hopefuls registered for the opportunity to make their dream come true and have the chance to cheer on the Houston Texans on the sidelines during the games at NRG Stadium. In addition to the games, the HTC also travel for military tours and special appearances.
Following Saturday’s tryouts, the group that is annually the largest showing for NFL cheerleader auditions, was cut to 53.
After a 10 days of anticipation that included training camp and the swimsuit round, they named their 2017 Houston Texans Cheerleaders team on April 11th.
