The last time the Mavs ManiAACs were in Hollywood, it was at the invitation of America’s Got Talent in 2010.  Now, they’re back in Los Angeles for their 4th All-Star appearance.

The ManiAACs kick-off their All-Star Schedule with a performance at the Mtn Dew Kickstart Rising Stars game on Friday, February 16th at the STAPLES Center.  They will also make appearances at the NBA Cares Special Olympics Unified Game, the NBA All-Star Practice and the 67th NBA All-Star Game presented on TNT.

To celebrate the ManiAACs 15th season with the Dallas Mavericks, Mavs Productions has released BIG TIME, a mini-documentary that released today on mavs.com.

The 15-min special highlights the best performances, and gives a glimpse at their first appearance on April 21st, 2002, when the big guys hit the court to a rendition of “It’s Raining Men.” What was supposed to be a one-time event has become a way of life for 16 men.

The Mavs ManiAACs started as an idea from Mavs Owner Mark Cuban and the group of 16 “beefy” guys from differing backgrounds quickly became fan favorites as the magical BIG man dance troupe over the past 15 years.  They perform at schools, parties, corporate events, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, golf tournaments and they’ve been invited to 4 NBA All-Star Games, competed in the 2010 Season of America’s Got Talent and opened for Ludacris and The Blues Brothers.
