JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Visit Jacksonville has debuted a brand-new advertising campaign, titled “Jax. It’s Easier Here.”

The campaign highlights Jacksonville’s relaxing nature and positions it as a destination where visitors won’t have to deal with overcrowded beaches, long lines, and unbearable traffic, instead, they will be able to experience an easier vacation; one that’s rich with art and culture, history, exciting outdoor adventures, and thrilling sporting events, but at a slower, more relaxed pace.

Print advertisements, digital billboards, web content, re-branding of all destination collateral, promotional decals, and a TV commercial will help disperse the new messaging with a focus on Florida, the South, and the Northeast. The campaign features beautiful imagery of Jacksonville’s most picturesque natural environments and cultural offering, and a brand mark that reads “Jax. It’s Easier Here.”

“We wanted to convey the accessible nature of Jacksonville, while also communicating the diverse experiences that visitors can enjoy in our destination,” said Katie Mitura, Vice President, Marketing and Communications at Visit Jacksonville. “Jax offers a robust arts and culture scene, top spectator sports and entertainment events, and outdoor experiences that really set us apart. Our new campaign seeks to capitalize on these unique destination elements, while reinforcing the city’s easygoing nature. It really is time for visitors to come see it all for themselves!”

The multi-media campaign was developed by Visit Jacksonville and its agency of record, The Dalton Agency, and it is already on display in major tourism target markets for Jacksonville including Atlanta and New York City.
