LOS ANGELES — This past week, SAG Award nominees from “This is Us,” “Orange is the New Black,” “Black-ish,” “Glow,” “Lady Bird,” “The Big Sick,” along with top wardrobe stylists landed a coveted appointment at the StyleLab Styling Event. These superstars as well as major wardrobe stylists had the opportunity to borrow from over $30 million worth of jewelry for the SAG Awards and related parties.
Michael O’Connor, leading style expert and television personality, curated a selection of baubles and from world-renowned brands such as Christopher Designs, Dan Tang, Rio Diamond, Roberto Demeglio, Shaftel Diamond Co., and Susan Eisen.
Here’s the scoop on what celebrities and their stylists were eyeing for the SAG Awards and surrounding red carpet celebrations.
Zenobia Shroff from “The Big Sick” gravitated towards a 14-carat round fancy intense pink diamond, set in platinum and rose gold from Shaftel Diamond Co. This natural diamond is priced at $1.2 million.
Logan Shroyer from “This is Us” was enamored with button clips featuring 1.6-carats of round diamonds, set in platinum from Dan Tang. A set of 4 button clips is priced at $8,000.
Vicky Jeudy from “Orange is the new Black” was mesmerized by a pair of earrings from Christopher Designs, set in 14k white gold. These drop earrings are crafted with L’Amour Crisscut® diamonds and round diamonds, totaling 1.61-carats and priced at $7,532.
Francesca Curran from “Orange is the New Black” looked ultra-glamorous in an Art Nouveau delicate necklace dripping with diamonds, and featuring an aquamarine in the center. This stunning design from the Susan Eisen Vintage Collection was crafted approximately 100 years ago and is set in 18k white gold.
Kate Flannery from “All Night” gravitated towards a sphere diamond necklace with 101.59-carats of diamonds, set in 18k white gold from Roberto Demeglio, and priced at $178,570.
Sola Bamis from “Stitchers” looked radiant wearing a cocktail ring from Dianna Rae Jewelry for Rio Diamond. This spectacular ring features a 1.51-carat fancy purplish pink diamond, 2.66-carats of white diamonds, and another 0.09 carats of pink diamonds, set in 18k gold and priced at $250,000.
Hollywood’s biggest stars selected many other baubles from the StyleLab Styling Event to wear on the red carpet. Final jewelry confirmations will be disclosed on Sunday evening.
