COVINGTON, Ky. — The 143-room Aloft Phoenix Airport has completed a multi-million-dollar renovation. The total renovation of both the interior to include the rooms, the meeting rooms, the XYZ Lounge and the lobby. The property hosted a ribbon cutting and grand opening recently to celebrate the new property with local entertainment.
“This remodel brings a new vibrant and boutique style to our property, both in the public spaces and guest rooms,” Vice President, Denise Tempco said. “It demonstrates our commitment to exceed our guests’ expectations with high quality accommodations that have a touch of local flair. The hotel, which has been managed by Commonwealth Hotels since opening in 2009, has a new General Manager as well. “To be able to join not only a renovated Aloft hotel, but to have the opportunity to join a fantastic team and an amazing management company is like a dream come true. Someone please pinch me, I’m so excited!” said Josh Garcia. Josh has over 22 years of customer service experience, 15 of these years in hospitality. His service experience is extensive, working many different management positions in Arizona with both Hilton and Marriott brands. Josh joined the Aloft Phoenix Airport hotel as well as Commonwealth Hospitality in November 2017.
