GREENSBORO, N.C, — Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. (NYSE: SKT) today celebrated Tanger Outlets Fort Worth’s Grand Opening, starting at 9:00 AM CT as stores officially opened. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted by Steven B. Tanger, Chief Executive Officer of Tanger Outlets, Drew and Jonathan Scott from the hit show Property Brothers, as well as state and local officials.
The Grand Opening ceremony was presented by Briana Gurley, Tanger Fashionista of the Tanger Style Team, with remarks delivered by Janie Havel, Economic Development Field Representative from the Governor Abbott’s Office, Robin Vaughan, Deputy District Director from Congressman Burgess’ Office, Betsy Price, Mayor of the City of Fort Worth, William Boecker, President and CEO, Fine Line Diversified Development, Dennis Shingleton, Fort Worth City Councilman and Mayor Pro Tempore, Robert Jameson, President and CEO, Fort Worth Visitors Bureau, Bill Thornton, President and CEO, Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, and Andy Eads, Denton County Commissioner.
As part of the Grand Opening celebrations, Tanger offered shoppers a chance to meet real estate experts Drew and Jonathan Scott. The Scott brothers have worked nearly 16 years in the real estate industry, providing their expertise in helping those turn down-and-out fixer-upper properties into dream homes on their show.
On Saturday shoppers are invited to join Tanger for a dance party at 6pm followed by a Fireworks Spectacular at 9pm to continue the celebrations. Other family fun throughout the weekend will include a vintage photo booth, carnival games, a Tanger Food Truck Festival, various musicians and performers, and a Tanger Ferris Wheel.
