NEW YORK — Stuart Weitzman believes that the aisle is the bride’s runway. To address the stylish footwear needs of the modern bride, the brand is extending its bridal collection to include its iconic and most sought-after evening silhouettes. The collection will debut exclusively at stuartweitzman.com on April 18th.

The collection is comprised of 10 core bridal styles in three elegant fabrics: white satin, argento noir and platinum gold noir. The selection includes the brand’s popular NUDIST sandal in four heel heights ranging from 2 ¾” to 4 ½”, an elegant pointed-toe single-sole pump with both a high heel and a kitten heel, a modern round-toe platform pump, a delicate d’orsay lace-up ballet flat, a stylish wedge sandal and a chic T-strap flat sandal. The bride-to-be looking to add a little sparkle to her step will also have the option to adorn the white satin styles with clear, chalk white or Something Blue light sapphire Swarovski crystals. From beach brides to garden party brides to more traditional brides, there is a silhouette to complement each “I Do.” Retail prices range from $365 – $445. Prices for the Swarovski crystal designs range from $2,200 – $3,500.

Footwear plays a major role in every bride’s big day, so for those Instagram-able moments, the brand is offering a customization based on Stuart Weitzman’s own proposal to his wife of 50 years, Jane, when he got down on one knee with a shoe instead of a ring. The lining of the one-of-a-kind shoe was inscribed “Made expressly for the future Mrs. Weitzman.” The bridal customization program takes a page out of the designer’s playbook by offering brides the option to personalize their sock lining with their new married name and wedding date.
