Callie’s Corner: #WorkoutWednesday Twelve Days of Christmas

Happy #WorkoutWednesday and Merry Christmas! Today, I’m giving you a Twelve Days of Christmas workout you can do before digging into all the delicious Christmas eats this weekend. The way you do it is simple: Start at 1, and just like the song, go all the way up the ladder. Your workout should end with 12 mountain climbers, 11 burpees, 10 skaters….you get the idea! For an extra killer workout, perform the circuit 2-3 times and time each set. Why? So you can try to beat your time on the previous set…and BURN MORE CALORIES!

For this workout you will need: 1 set of 5-10 lb dumbbells. Let’s get started!

1- weighted burpee with overhead press
2- tuck jumps
3- inchworms
4- cherry pickers (burpee without the push-up)
5- jump squats
6- lunges with biceps curls (double count)
7- squats with an overhead press
8- push-ups
9- frog leaps
10- skaters (double count)
11- burpees
12- mountain climbers (double count)

*stretch*
