COLUMBIA FALLS, Maine and MANASQUAN, N.J. Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, today announced a generous incentive program for donors looking to help Wreaths Across America reach its goal of placing a wreath on every headstone at Arlington National Cemetery this Dec. 17.

For every wreath sponsored between now and Monday, Nov. 28, at midnight (ET) Jersey Mike’s will match it, up to a total donation of $250,000.

Currently, Wreaths Across America has nearly half (approx. 122,500) of the wreaths sponsorships needed for Arlington National Cemetery. This matching program is expected to help sponsor nearly 50,000 additional wreaths for the cemetery. Approximately 245,000 wreath sponsorships are needed to ensure all veterans laid to rest at Arlington will receive a wreath on National Wreaths Across America Day.

“Wreaths Across America is a program close to our hearts here — from the founder, to our restaurant staff across the country — and we are hopeful this incentive will be the support they need to be successful this year,” said Mike Manzo, Chief Operating Officer, Jersey Mike’s Subs. “Experiencing the wreath-laying at Arlington National Cemetery and at other locations across the country is an unforgettable experience, reinforcing the importance of the mission to Remember, Honor, Teach.”
